Last night I realized that my to-do list is called ‘College Things’ and the default text that is sent if I reject a call is ‘I am in class. I’ll call you when I get free?’
In lieu of my new found sedentary and paying lifestyle, I wanted to rewrite the message to ‘Now applying what I learned in class. I’ll call you if I ever get free!’
BUT THEN I also dint want to sound like a dork so now I am at work. Will call you when I get free or whatever.

Last week was fine.
I was phenomenal though.
No drama because of my mental unequipped-ness of coping with change. Well, less than a normal amount of drama, for sure.
There was no crying. I was patient. Even in traffic jams. Didn’t drop curry on my white pants while feeding myself.
You’d think it wasn’t me.
Major Life Event happened.
Not only did I start my 2nd week at an office, today I found a GOOD panipuri guy near the office. And finding a good panipuri guy has always been a sign of a place accepting me as it’s own.

Are you also having one of those days when you forget to have breakfast and your stomach grumbles in the meeting? That kind of a day when it rains like the rain is pissed at its father but can’t do anything about it and you sit in the rain-soaked shoes till your skin wrinkles? And and then your lunch never reaches and Maggi gets overcooked? Did you almost lose your phone? Twice?
I could go on but if you are having one of these days you know what I mean by now!
This is a preachy post
(Didn’t see that coming, did you?)
I’ll tell you something my therapist told me once. She said “be good to yourself. And listen, don’t neglect the wisdom behind these words because they sound cheesy.”
