- I made a friend recently. We write letters and give each other movie recommendations. I told him about feeling like an outsider at my engineering college and felt understood. Some people are easy to talk to and it is such an underrated quality.
- I have friends who have been there for me through college, hairstyles, and therapist changes. Some never complain or scold me about how bad I am at keeping in touch. I am glad some people and experiences do not have to be deserved.
- People closest to me sustain the most over-reactions and harsh words. I do the same for them. We are going to kill each other but hopefully make better humans of the other before that.
- I am so glad for the people who stand tall and aglow in the face of responsibility and admiration. Being admirable is a tough job I have noticed. It requires one to do good, probably fight the society while at that, stay humble through it and admit to making mistakes. Sometimes I sit down and wonder how different life would be if I had different role models.
